Hal Pictures is an award winning production company founded by Husni Hafid and Alan Hopkins in 2020.

Hal Pictures is dedicated to making great movies, working with the best possible people and telling stories that challenge and entertain audiences. With a passion for storytelling and a commitment to excellence, we always strive to push the boundaries of creativity creating films that have a lasting resonance and impact.

Hal Pictures have produced multiple film projects including most recently The Screen Ireland Focus Short “OGHAM”.  We are currently in pre-production on a fourth project “A Knock at Your Door” supported by Screen Ireland entering production in early 2026.

Our team of talented filmmakers, writers, and producers collaborate closely to bring diverse stories to life. Hal Pictures aims to engage, entertain, and inspire audiences with the magic of film.
